Long Ranch Artworks Biography
About Me
I started Long Ranch Artworks in November of 2006, just after my recent discovery
of this unknown talent. LRA specializes in graphite renderings, capturing a life-like
image of primarily western scenes. Although my main focus is Western American culture,
I also do renderings for just about anything: family, pets, weddings and so on.....
In June of 2006 I began sketching in pen and ink. The first drawing not only surprised
me; it caught the attention of others as well. Never before did I know the caliber
of my talent. I’ve drawn before, but never at this level. I would say it was in
August of 2006 that I did my first graphite sketch. By November I had completed
six graphite renderings. I began to realize the true gift and talent I had been
given. I am still amazed at the accomplishment of these feats.
I am working diligently to put my sketches on the website as I complete them. My
goal is to draw to near photo realistic drawings, check out my first fine art piece
Watching You.
Please plan on returning to the website as you will watch my portfolio continue
to grow. I will be doing several drawings for Days End Farm Horse Rescue organization. This incredible
group of people takes in abused and neglected horse. I will be donating a percentage
of every print sold in this particular series to DEFHR.
I plan to sell a variety of versions of each print. So if you like Lithographs and
Giclees, you will want to come back. Each will be offered as a signed or unsigned
print. In addition, the Giclees will be offered as a numbered series. Images are
generated from high resolution, digital scans. Each will be printed with 300gsm
William Turner Watercolor paper made by Hahnemuhle. Roland or Epson archival pigment
inks are used for all prints. The Giclee printing process provides better color
accuracy than other means of reproduction.
Thank you for your interest and I look forward to doing business with you in the
future.
Thanks
